**This
page is in memory of my step-mother, Jane (Colley) Johnson
and Ken's grandmother, Faye Geroldine (Spriggs) Dougherty**
October is
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Breast cancer
can be eradicated if found in the very early stages. My step-mom
was diagnosed with breast cancer around her 70th birthday. She fought
a valiant battle for seven and a half years but passed away on October
9, 2003. Our family knows more about breast cancer, cancer treatments,
terminology, care, & hospice than we ever wanted to know. I
hope some of these links will be useful to you - whether you are
a cancer patient, family member, physican, or someone who wishes
to educate themselves about this terrible, devastating disease.
(Note: We do
not endorse any products or gain anything from these links.
They are here for your use - remember to always be cautious on the
Internet.) Also, there are so many links to breast cancer research,
organizations, information, treatment, etc., that it would be impossible
to include them all. Go to http://www.google.com
and search for breast cancer - you'll get hundreds of links. The
following links are just some that I have used and found to helpful.
Important Links:

Breast Cancer Site - make sure to click to fund free mammograms
