On July 16, 2015, my father, Larry M. Johnson of Potlatch, ID passed away at home. He had been ill since June 30th with aspiration pneumonia and was hospitalized until July 14th. On that day he was discharged from Pullman Regional Hospital to go home with the care of Hospice and his three caregivers (who lovingly agreed to each take 8 hour shifts every day). The previous year Dad had suffered a stroke that affected his speech, walking, and writing (right side). For his own reasons, he did not want me contacted at that time. We did not communicate for nearly a year.
